Nooks Secures $500M General Catalyst Financing Commitment

AI sales startup Nooks secured a $500 million commitment from General Catalyst’s Customer Value Fund to support sales and marketing and accelerate new product launches. Unlike conventional equity financing, the arrangement gives the fund a share of returns generated by its capital rather than an ownership stake; its broader model ties repayment to customer value created and caps the fund’s entitlement. Nooks has more than 2,000 customers, including HubSpot, Replit, Cursor and Notion, reports 135% net revenue retention, and expects annual recurring revenue to nearly triple by the end of 2026. The company also launched its Revenue Agent Platform, designed to support sales work from initial outreach through renewals. General Catalyst cited Nooks’ predictable revenue engine and strong unit economics as reasons for backing the company.
